This item, a bus stop, is an obvious one; but is it as obvious that in order to catch a bus the pedestrian is being directed toward using the bus stop just by the mere presence of it. As such, people are being directed to stand at a certain point along a road, although they may not be at all aware that they are being instructed to do so.
