An entrance point, indicating this is where pedestrian go, and that there is no entrance for vehicles. There is also no lock or latch on this gate, which shows it is capable of self-closing meaning that it has been designed, constructed and placed there with people in mind that may not remember to close a gate behind them, children for instance.
