Before and After photos, for assessment in module.

The following 11 are test photos. There are before shots of items followed by after shots of the same item but with a change in horizon or framing of the object. In all there are 5 subjects, but with 2 photos, a before and an after of each item, one object has 3 photos due to 2 after shots being taken of it. With the last photo, I prefer the very last composition, which has more of the shrub in the side of the shot. The photo of the 'garden' boats actually came out better in the after shot than originally thought, so I'm quite pleased with that one. Some subjects were deliberately chosen for their awkwardness.

Postbox: before shot.

Centrally aligned postbox, deliberately bad picture, looks pretty boring and non-effective with too little 'movement' in the photo.

Slightly off-centre, and composition seems to work with the grey box, and the angle of the background.

Boats: before shot

Front-on, very boring angle of the boats.

Boats: after shot.

This was a difficult call, it would have been nice to be able to get a higher shot in to the boats, but that was not possible. This shot is certainly better than the previous one.

A typical front-on camera shot, almost mid-frame; I really don't like this photo composition, it's boring.

I like this angle, not full-on but still in your face; this was a difficult decision as to where it really should be positioned in the frame.
